DORYS FOLTIN.

I’m Dorys Foltin, a Honolulu-based makeup artist, hair stylist and photographer with more than two decades of experience working across commercial productions, corporate photography, television, editorial, celebrity and special events.

My approach is polished, modern and highly personal. I believe great makeup should enhance rather than overpower. Whether I’m preparing an executive for a corporate portrait, creating camera-ready beauty for television, working with a celebrity or VIP, or styling a bride for one of the most photographed days of her life.

Years behind both the makeup chair and the camera have given me a strong understanding of how skin, texture, color and proportion translate under professional lighting, high-resolution photography and video. I specialize in natural and soft-glam beauty, mature skin and refined grooming that looks as good in person as it does on camera.

My career has included work in television, fashion and editorial productions, corporate and branding photography, weddings and private VIP appointments. My work has been published in national and international magazines, and I’ve had the privilege of working with actors, musicians, television personalities, business leaders and clients from around the world.

Born in Vienna and based in Honolulu for more than 30 years, I bring a European sensibility to my work — understated, thoughtful and detail-driven. I’m available throughout Hawaii and for select national and international assignments.

Alongside my personal work through Dorys Foltin Makeup & Hair, I am also the founder of Maleana Beauty, my bridal beauty team, and Mango Lime Studios, where I combine photography, visual storytelling and creative direction.

Whatever the setting, my goal remains the same: to create a polished version of you that feels authentic, confident and completely at ease in front of the camera.
